Since the Jays lost their last series with the Red Soxs, they have come back to win 2 straight against the Baltimore Orioles. Rickey Romero only allowed three hits and one single. With the 4-1 win the Jays improved their record to 34-34. The Jays are one of those teams that will do good for a couple of games, and then they will drop the ball loosing a few to come back and win a couple. They have been doing this for as long as I can remember and unless they get a better team they will keep doing it.
Today this will be my final Blue Jay report, final day of my grade 11 year and the final day of this school semester. Final day for my English project and i will not be needing to continue it. The Jay's will always be my favorite team and I will be keeping a close eye on them. If I ever have to do a blog for a school project again i will start up the Blue Jay report again.............Farewell my readers.
Life is like a game of baseball,You play it every day.It isn't just the breaks you get,But the kind of game you play.So stop and look your whole team over,And you'll find dedication there. You're bound to be a winner,With men who really care.
Out Side Article
My last out side article is going to be about the Vancouver Canucks choking in the playoffs. In the first round of the 2011 playoffs, the Canucks were up 3-0 on the Chicago Black hawks and lost 3 straight to tie the series up. They did end up beating them in 7 games to face Nashville in the western semi finals. The Canucks did not choke in this series or the next against the San Jose Sharks, it was in the Stanley Cup Final that they really choked. In the series with the Boston Bruins, they were up 2-0 in the series and went back to Boston, and Boston won those two games. Games 5 and 6 were both split to the two teams and game 7 was back in Vancouver. On Wednesday night the Boston Bruins came out and played their best game of the series. With the Bruins winning, it will be the first time the cup has been back to Boston since 1972. Farewell to 2010/2011 Hockey season
