Tough Loss

The Jays were hoping to be able to come out ahead in this series but unfortunately they came up short when they played the Royals in the last game of this series. They lost this game, though it was close, they were unable to pull it off and lost by the score of 3-2 with the Royals not even having to play the bottom of the 9th. On a positive note, the Jays pitching has improved in this series. Ricky Romero was able to pitch a full 8 innings in yesterday's outing. With this loss the Jays ended up splitting the 4 game series 2-2. The Jays are close to the .500 mark by only being a game above, making their record 32-31. With yesterday loss the Jays will be flying back home where they will face the Boston Red Socks with no time for a break. The Red Socks team could be considered to be on a hot streak, their momentum in winning could make it difficult for the Jays to overcome. The Jays might just have one of their hardest challenges this month with this series. Game one of the 3 game series will begin tonight in the Rogers arena at 6:06 central time. Let's hope the Jay's can pull a win out of their bag of tricks.
