Indians Win Series

After the embarrassing loss on Monday night to the Jays, the Indians bounced back and won two straight to take the series. With last night's loss, the Jays fell to 28-28. A pitcher is what the jays need to find, if they don't do it soon, they'll fall out of playoff contention. Kyle Drabek, Brandon Morrow and Jo Jo Reyes right now all seem to be struggling pitchers. Between the three pitchers, they only have 6 wins out of the 31 starts . Drabek was pulled from the game on Wednesday night after only playing 2/3 of an inning, throwing 38 pitches, and giving up 3 doubles, 3 walks and 4 home runs. Drabek realizes he is not playing to his potential, he commented after the game to say that "This is absolutely the worst start I've ever had". After watching him in that game, I'm sure there is no one that will argue with him. After the bad start it didn't get any better, one could say it almost got worse. Shawn Camp allowed 7 runs in the third inning. Their next series will start on Friday against the Baltimore Orioles, here's hoping they have a better outcome. Needless to say something is going to have to change, what it will be, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
